Collectors longed for Rolls-Royce cars for ages. Luckily, Kyosho knew that. When they announced 1/18 that Rolls-Royce luxury cars would come soon, the whole die-cast world went crazy. The first Kyosho Roll-Royce Ghost was just a perfect car in every angle. So no doubt that collectors had high expectations for the next car: Phantom Extended Wheelbase!

This Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase doesn't have as many opening features as Ghost. But it's still a hit to die-cast market. Let's check it out via Car Beer's video:

Exterior

This car is extremely heavy as most parts are made of metal. The scale and shape are accurate. The model successfully captures the classic beauty of the real car. The paint is flawless. The small details are excellent: head lights, back lights, logos, chrome lines on the body... The Spirit of Ecstasy is nicely sculpted so that we could see what it is, even in 1/18 scale.

 The engine

The engine looks quite good to me. There is nothing to complaint.

Feature

There are tone of opening features on this model. Everything can be opened: Doors, hood, trunk. The mirrors even fold in and out.

Interior

Here goes the very best of the car. The white interior really gives the luxury feel. The floor is carpeted. The front panel looks like wood (but it is plastic, not real wood). You can open the glove box, move the front seat, open the back compartment, take out the umbrellas... There is so much fun to play with. Every small details are sharp and are carefully crafted. The quality of this model is just high as the real car.

Summary

This car sells at a very high price: $250! But this is the Rolls-Royce in the die-cast world. There is no way it can be cheaper. The price will continue to be higher. So get yours before you have to pay thousands $ for it.
