On the homepage of Bugatti, Bugatti Chiron is described as: "the most powerful, the fastest, the most luxurious and the most exclusive production super sports car". Personally, I really love this beast, and it is always on the top of my wanted list. When Bburago announced they would make it in 1/18 scale, I was happy like crazy.

I bought it the first time I saw it. Although it is not as high standard as AUTOart or Kyosho, it's still reasonable with a cheap price $49. Let's see what it got here:

Exterior

The car is made of mostly metal, hence it is heavy and rigid. I love that. The exterior is somewhat not really accurate, but it is my personal feeling. The paint is average.

The wheels are chrome-mated, and a little bit too shiny. The brake discs are made of plastic and not very realistic.

The head lights are good, but the back lights are below average. Grids are plastic, not photo-etched metal like AUTOart's or Kyosho's cars.

 The engine

The engine very simple. The front trunk is not carpeted. The front hood can't open all the way up. It opens just 2 cm from the trunk. But we do have some nice carbon fiber details here.

Interior

The doors are hard to open like hell. The interior is in sand color. The paint job is not well done. It's thigh and noise. The steering wheel is not sharp. The carbon fiber work and seats look pretty plastic. This interior is only second class, but that what you get for $49 die-cast model.

Summary

This car is reasonably good for its price. If you love Chiron as much like me, this model is a must have. MR resin version may be much more beautiful, but it's body is sealed, nothing opens, plus the price is high like crazy. So this car is still the first and best choice for any collectors.
